MSHP Seeking Information in Fatal Hit and Run Crash in Christian County

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal hit and run crash involving a pedestrian near Highlandville.

According to the Patrol's crash report, the incident took place on Myron White Road around 3:30 Tuesday afternoon where 67-year-old Debra Dove was struck by a vehicle which fled the scene. Dove was taken to Cox South Hospital in Springfield where she was pronounced dead just over an hour later. 

MSHP tells Ozarks First that they are seeking the public's help in trying to locate the vehicle and driver involved. Anyone with information can call the MSHP Troop D Office in Springfield at 417-895-6868.
