MSHP Works Three Crashes in Christian County

A busy night for Troop D of the Missouri State Highway Patrol as they work a trio of crashes in Chrsitian County.

The first two crashes occurred in a half hour span just after 6:00. The first was on Highway 160 when a vehicle driven by a 26-year-old man from Chillicothe struck a vehicle driven by a 64-year-old woman from Ozark. That vehicle then went into a vehicle in the other lane driven by a 48-year-old woman from Galena. The Chillicothe driver sustained serious injuries while the other two drivers suffered minor to moderate injuries. 

A half hour later just after 6:30, another crash occurred south of Nixa on Rosedale Road when a vehicle driven by a 48-year-old woman from Reeds Spring attempted to make a turn and hit a vehicle driven by a 44-year-old man from Ozark. Neither driver was hurt but a passenger in the second vehicle, a 45-year-old Ozark woman, dud sustain minor injuries. 

The final crash occurred in the southeast side of the county on Highway 125 south of Chadwick around 9:15, when a Texas man driving a motorcycle attempted to avoid an animal on the highway and overturned. The man sustained serious injures in the crash.

All crash victims were taken to Springfield Hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
