REEDS SPRING, Mo. — New information has emerged surrounding the early October killing of 19-year-old Carmella Knop as the Arkansas teen accused in her death remains held without bond in the Greene County Jail.
Gavin O. Justice, 19, of Bella Vista, Arkansas, was charged in Stone County Circuit Court with first-degree murder and armed criminal action in early October.
According to a probable cause statement obtained by Ozarks First through a records request, the alleged crime occurred Oct. 6 at an apartment in downtown Reeds Spring.
Stone County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) deputies responded at about 12:30 p.m. Oct. 6 for a “suspicious circumstances call.” Dispatchers reported that Justice had called dispatch saying he “had hurt someone.”
