While a new team administration team is in place in the Hollister School District, an annual tradition is taking place to kick-off the school year.
Two of the members of the new administration, Superintendent Dr. Sean Woods and Communication Director Mark Waugh, appeared on KRZK's "Ozarks Now" program to talk about the 11th Annual Night of the Tiger which takes place Thursday. The event this year has two phases, the Open House in all buildings which will take place between 5:00-7:00 pm and Family Fair which is from 5:30-7:30 pm.
Woods and Waugh said this event is a great way to welcome back students and faculty for the beginning of the school year plus engage the community in what is happening in the district. Several vendors will be setting up booths as part of the fair.
The two also talked about their transitions to new positions in the School District as well as the recently completed Athletic Fieldhouse as well as proposed expansion to the Early Childhood Center.
