The Sheriff of Newton County, Arkansas discusses the events that led to the discovery of a man from Springfield that was killed in what was believed to be a fatal bear attack.

Glenn Wheeler, in an interview with Ozarks First, talks about the call from concerned family members that led to the discovery of the body of 60-year-old Max Davis at the Sam's Throne Campground near Mount Judea and to the location of the bear that is believed to have killed him. He believes the bear to have been a regular around the campsite and was used to it acting as a food source.
