Power is completely restored after over 700 Nixa residents were without power following a vehicle crash.
For the second time in three days, Nixa residents were without power because of a vehicle crash. The crash occurred on the morning of Aug. 30 on Rosedale Road in the middle of Truman Boulevard White Ash, according to the Nixa Police Department’s Facebook Page. It was once known as Norton Road.
The post states that the “vehicle knocked down a utility pole on the White River Valley Electric Coop distribution system” and adds that the system “serves about 800 homes in an area south of Nixa.” Crews placed a new utility pole in place of the one that was damaged.
Earlier in the day, the White River Valley Electric Cooperative outage map showed over 700 outages, but the number of outages dropped to one as of 10:40 a.m.
