Emery Sapp & Sons announces one of their workers has died as a result of Thursday's Water Main Break in Downtown Branson.
Ozarks First has confirmed through the company that the worker who died was Jacob Seiler III.
The statement is below as posted by Ozarks First:
“We are heartbroken to share that an Emery Sapp & Sons employee has died from injuries sustained in the incident at the Branson Streetscapes project on Thursday, August 21. His courage and selflessness reflect the person he was and how he served those around him. He was a valuable member of our team, and we will miss him. We extend our deepest condolences and prayers to his family and loved ones.”
The company did not name the employee in their initial release and still have not released the name of the employee who is still recovering from the accident. In a previous release, Emory Sapp & Sons stated they are investigating the cause of the break that occurred as workers were working on the Downtown Branson Streetscape Project at the intersection of Main and Sycamore Streets.
