With Flood Waters keeping people from enjoying the current campground and park facilities, Diamond City officials are making plans for new facilities near Bull Shoals Lake but out of Flood Plain.
During an interview Tuesday on KRZK's "Ozarks Now" program, Diamond City Mayor Jamie Nuessner talks about getting the initial plan put together.
Nuessner said they have applied for Grants to help to fund the project but would seek private funding if the Grant Application is not successful. A Town Hall Meeting is scheduled on June 29 to discuss the plans and seek more public input.
