As area power crews restored the final group of customers that had lost electricity after recent storms, the area is bracing for the hottest day of the year.
Both White River Electric and Entergy are reporting no outages this morning after several thousand customers had lost power due to storms that hit the region late Sunday night into Monday morning.
Meanwhile, temperatures are expected to get into the 100 Degree Range today with Heat Index Readings over 110 possible. Most of the Lakes Region is under a Heat Advisory today however Barry County on the western edge of Table Rock Lake is under an Excessive Heat Warning.
Area officials are urging people to limit strenuous outside activities during the heat of the day.
