Liberty Utility Customers in the Branson, Forsyth, and Hollister areas were asked to conserve power for a time on Thursday due to some scheduled maintenance work taking longer than expected.
The company posted on their Facebook Page that parts of the system were taken down for the maintenance and that the prolonged repair time plus high demand pushed the system to near capacity.
The work was eventually completed and the Conservation request was taken off at 6:00 Thursday evening.
