Rain expected to impact the Lakes Region.
The weather pattern across the Lakes Region is set to change over the next couple of days. After a stretch of hot and dry conditions, the chances of rain will increase as showers and thunderstorms move into the area.
Storms are expected over the next two days, with temperatures remaining in the 80s. Some thunderstorms could become strong, particularly southeast of a line from Branson to Eureka Springs, where a Marginal Risk for severe weather is in place. The primary threat from any stronger storms will be damaging wind gusts.
Hot weather is expected to return this weekend, with temperatures climbing back into the upper 90s by early next week.
