The Lakes Region was hit with some overnight rain which is causing some travel issues this morning.
Several reports to Ozarks Dynacom News indicate that some patchy slick spots have developed in parts of the Lakes Region. Slick spots have been reported around the Highway 65-Ozark Mountain High Road areas as well as on Highway 176 in northern Taney County and areas of Highway 413 between Reeds Spring and Galena in Stone County.
Temperatures have stayed at or just above freezing in most of the region however some isolated areas where the temperature dipped below freezing has resulted in some slick spots developing.
Motorist are advised to drive cautiously on the morning commute. Temperatures are expected to rise above freezing throughout the region later this morning.
