A Branson playground is open after an upgrade to enhance accessibility, according to a city government press release.
The full press release is below:
(BRANSON, MO, November 7, 2025) The Branson Parks and Recreation Department is excited to announce that the playground near Pavilion B at the Branson RecPlex, located at 1501 Branson Hills Parkway, is now reopen to the public following a major surfacing upgrade.
As part of the City’s 2025 Community Asset Replacement Plan, the playground now features a new pour-in-place rubber safety surface, a seamless and durable material that absorbs impact and enhances accessibility for children of all abilities.
"Playgrounds are vital for children's health and recreation," said Cindy Shook, Director of Parks & Recreation. "We’re proud to continue investing in the spaces that bring our community together and support active, healthy lifestyles."
This improvement ensures the RecPlex playground remains a safe, inclusive, and welcoming space for families to enjoy for years to come.
For more information about the playground re-surfacing, please visit the Branson Parks & Recreation Department website or contact the Parks & Recreation office at (417) 335-2368.
