Reeds Spring Voters to Consider No Tax Increase Bond

The Reeds Spring School District is asking voters to approve a no-tax increase bond issue to fund three different projects.

Dr. Codi Hirschi, Superintendent of the Reeds Spring School District, talked about the issue during an interview Monday on KRZK's "Ozarks Now" program.

Hirschi says the first project would expand the Primary School Building to expand the Early Childhood Program and to make the building fire and storm safe, 

The second project would build a new building for the Omar Gibson Vo-Tech and Career Center next to the current High School Building which would also allow the district to expand the offerings in the program. 

The third project would develop a "Reeds Spring Alumni" Park which would be a complex including Tennis and Pickleball Courts, an ADA Accessible Community Playground, Pavilions, and a Cross Country Course/Nature Trail. 

Hirschi says information on the no-tax increase bond issue can be found on the Reeds Spring School District Website. The District also announced in a release that a presentation will take place on Tuesday March 29 at Reeds Spring Middle School.
