The Springfield Police Department is investigating a traffic crash that occurred earlier this month that has resulted in the death of a woman from Reeds Spring.
According to the release from the department, the crash took place on April 3 on Campbell Ave in Springfield when a vehicle driven by 40- year-old Justin Harris of Republic rear ended a vehicle driven by 69-year-old Robert Wren of Reeds Spring. Law Enforcement nor First Responders were called to the scene as the drivers exchanged information.
The next day, a passenger in Wren’s vehicle, 55-year-old Frankie Wren, sought treatment at an urgent care which then resulted in her being life flighted to a Springfield hospital where she died on April 7.
The circumstances of the crash are now part of an ongoing investigation according to the Springfield Police Department Release.
