Russ Willoughby Signs-Off "The Upside"

The end of 2021 also sees an end to one of Ozarks Dynacom's most popular programs.

Friday Morning saw the final "The Upside with Josh and Russ" Program on Legends 1063 as co-host Russ Willoughby signs-off to take a position working with former Branson entertainer Justin Flom in Las Vegas.

Russ's background at KRZK began when starting at the age of four, he would appear annually with his father Steve Willoughby (now Ozarks Dynacom General Manager) on the annual Christmas Eve Edition of "Steve and Janet in the Morning" when co-host Janet Ellis would travel back home for the holidays. In later years, Russ would join Janet as a fill-in co-host for Steve and did so occasionally after Steve left the show in 2016.

When Janet Ellis decided to retire from the retitled "Janet and Friends" program at the end of July in 2020, Russ was tabbed to join frequent Morning Show co-host Josh Clark on the new "Upside" program, which ran for over 350 shows.

"The Upside" will continue with Josh Clark and several guest co-hosts going into the new year.
