HARRISON, ARK – The spirit of the season was on full display at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center (NARMC) on Wednesday, December 10, as representatives from eight local organizations gathered to receive toy donations collected through the 7th Annual Santa Shuffle Fun Run.
Dan Dillard and Kim Rosson appeared on KHOZ's "Around The Table" to promote the Santa Shuffle earlier this month.
The full press release from North Arkansas Medical Foundation is below:
Thanks to the generosity of more than 500 individuals who participated in this year’s Santa Shuffle, over 700 new toys were donated and distributed to organizations serving children across 13 campuses in five counties throughout NARMC’s service area. These gifts will help ensure hundreds of local children experience the joy of Christmas this holiday season.
The Santa Shuffle is hosted annually on the first Saturday in December by NARMC and the North Arkansas Medical Foundation. The event serves as a meaningful way for the organization to give back to the communities it serves during the holidays. Participants in the festive fun run donated a new children’s toy in lieu of a registration fee, directly transforming a Santa-themed fun run into an impactful holiday tradition.
Representatives from each recipient organization met at NARMC to pick up the toys, which will now be distributed to children and families in need throughout the region. The event was made possible through the support of Santa Shuffle participants, individuals who made donations in support of the event, community partners, and dedicated sponsors, including top sponsor Kinetic, whose continued generosity helps maximize the event’s reach and impact.
“Being a good neighbor matters to us,” said Tish Kemp, Kinetic Regional Marketing Consultant. “When we come together, our whole community grows stronger. Sponsoring the Santa Shuffle is a small way we can give back and help bring joy to local children this holiday season.”
NARMC and the North Arkansas Medical Foundation extend their sincere gratitude to all participants, donors, sponsors, and partner organizations who helped make the 7th Annual Santa Shuffle a success. Through events like this, NARMC and the Foundation reaffirm their commitment to supporting and strengthening the communities they proudly serve, not only through healthcare, but through compassion, connection, and care during the holiday season.
The North Arkansas Medical Foundation supports NARMC by raising funds to advance technology, improve facilities, and expand patient services. Donations are tax-deductible and customizable to align with donor interests and priorities.
