
For the second day in a row, scattered showers and thunderstorms impact the Lakes Region, though the storms Tuesday had more coverage area and more impact.
For the second day in a row, the National Weather Service issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for areas around Eureka Springs in Carroll County. A resident in nearby Grandview reported three-quarter size hail during the storms while in Madison County, one inch size hail was reported.
While no warnings were issued on the Missouri side of the Lakes Region, hail was reported in several areas in Taney County, including around Kirbyville with several reports of hail from southwest of Hollister. One report from near the Table Rock Dam reported hail in addition to over an inch and half of rain wind gusts over 50 MPH.
The chances of rain continue over the next several days and while most areas will see highs in the 90s again today, temperatures will begin to drop over the following days.
