A day after a man was shot dead in Christian County, another shooting death occurs in the county.
The second death occurred on Sunday at a holiday gathering on Prairie Ridge Road in south central Christian County.
Lt. Justin Gargus of the Christian County Sheriff’s Department tells Ozarks First that a man was shot and killed after he got into an altercation with another man. The man who was shot had began threatening people with a weapon before being shot and killed by the other man.
An investigation continues into this incident and officials said it could be later today before the names of those involved are released. No arrests have been made in this incident so far.
On Saturday, a man was shot and killed in an incident near the square in Ozark and a man has been arrested and charged in that incident.
