Hutchins said that her skill of spotting and grabbing the attention of talented employees "has moved the bar substantially when it comes to filling positions." "She's gone above and beyond to streamline processes and find creative solutions to attracting talent." She also commented on how her work ethic spills over to her life outside of her office.

"Sonya’s commitment extends beyond the office walls. Her initiatives have not only enhanced our organization’s outreach but have also strengthened our ties with the local community she regularly engages with," Hutchins said.

The director also said that Seitz impacts the city staff as a whole and not just her team. "Her infectious spirit creates a dynamic and inclusive atmosphere that inspires others to excel. Her commitment to fostering a positive work environment aligns with the values of the city of Branson."

"Her enthusiasm, energy, and can-do spirit are infectious, creating a motivating and encouraging atmosphere anywhere she goes," Hutchins said. Seitz reacted humbly.

She said she "couldn't do any of this without my team" and expressed gratitude for Hutchins and Kimberly Cooper, the department's assistant director. She also expressed appreciation for other coworkers.
