A community in Christian County that includes highways connecting travelers to many Ozarks' attractions sees an opportunity to cater to motorist while helping their own community.
Matt Thomas, Director of the Sparta Area Chamber of Commerce, says during an interview on KRZK's "Ozarks Now" program that Sparta is in an ideal location to be part of the tourism community in the region.
Thomas along with Sparta Mayor Jenni Davis also talked about the recent designation as a Missouri Main Street Community and plans to promote the community as a stopping point on the way to other area attractions.
