National Weather Service Forecasters say the Lakes Region may be hit with a combination of heavy rain and scattered severe thunderstorms this evening.
Ahead of the storms, winds could gust up to 30 MPH with rain expected to move in late afternoon into the evening. An inch to an inch and a half of rain is possible with isolated areas possible seeing as much as two inches of rain.
The severe weather potential has led to some schedule changes for tonight’s High School Football Games with the Reeds Spring home playoff game against Cassville now scheduled to start at 5:00 and Harrison’s Home finale against Pea Ridge moved up to 5:30.
Two Lakes Area Schools moved their game to Thursday as Berryville hosted and beat Green Forest 22-0 in the annual “Carroll County Super Bowl.”
