Taney County 100 Club to Honor Late Sheriff Galba Branson

Taney County 100 Club will honor the late Sheriff Galba Branson, according to a Facebook post by the organization.

Join us as we pay tribute to the late Sheriff Galba Branson, who gave his life in the line of duty on July 4th, 1889, serving the citizens of Taney County.

We will be dedicating Harp Lane at 76A Memorial as “Heroes Way” in his honor. This heartfelt ceremony is open to the public, and members of Sheriff Branson’s family will be in attendance.

The Taney County 100 Club, according to its virtual home on Facebook:

We are a tax deductible, charitable organization that exists to help the surviving families of firefighters, law enforcement officers and EMS professionals seriously injured or killed in the line of duty.
