The Taney County Ambulance District has moved into a new building that once was used by the Branson School District.
According to a post from the District’s Facebook Page, TCAD had been looking for a facility to replace one they had been leasing for Station 4 on Highway 248 which they had outgrown. A vacant building located on Bee Creek Road off of Highway 65 which used to be a bus maintenance and parking area for the Branson School District was identified as a possible location and the school district agreed to let them use the building.
The post from TCAD said they refurbished the building which includes crew quarters, a workout area, a kitchen, and offices. In addition to crews from the old Station 4 moving into the building, one shift from Station 1 will also relocate to the new location to ease crowding in that building.
