In just released news today, a panel of experts and 10Best editors have chosen The Harvest Festival at Silver Dollar City as a nominee for 2022 Readers' Choice award for the Best Theme Park Halloween Event category. The contest launches today, Monday, August 15th and ends on Monday, September 12th.  The selection committee made this nomination knowing that Silver Dollar City’s upcoming fall event, featuring ‘Crafts & Pumpkins In The City,’ is a family-friendly festival, one designed to appeal to those looking for an alternative to the more commonly offered scary or gory events.

Set in the colors, flavors and smells of Fall, Silver Dollar City’s Harvest Festival has both daytime and nighttime components. Daily, dozens of artisans located throughout the park demonstrate the making of their crafts, while nighttime opens up a whole new experience.
Pumpkins In the City is an elaborate sun-down display of 15,000 carved or ornamental pumpkins, pumpkin sculptures, massive icon pieces and the all-new Foggy Hollow, a magical pathway made of a canopy of lights, fog and immersive special effects.
