
Three men are charged with second-degree drug trafficking following their arrest, according to a Facebook post by the Nixa Police Department.

𝗢𝗻 𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟭𝟲, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, 𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘅𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝟭𝟭:𝟱𝟴 𝗮.𝗺., 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗔𝗿𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 – 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘆, 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝟭𝟯, were serving a probation violation warrant at a residence located in the 400 block of S. Southgate Drive in Nixa.
During the arrest of Christopher Upton, who was taken into custody on the active probation violation warrant, Probation and Parole officers observed signs of methamphetamine use inside the residence. Based on those observations, they alerted Nixa Police Officers. During our investigation, a search warrant was applied for and granted by the Christian County Court.
Upon execution of the search warrant, 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟬𝟬 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝗰𝗿𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹-𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗯𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗵𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗲/𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗵𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗲. This residence is located within 2,000 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘢 𝘱𝘶𝘣𝘭𝘪𝘤 𝘴𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘭 𝘣𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨.
As a result of the investigation, the following individuals were arrested and have been formally charged with 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗿𝘂𝗴𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲:

The Probation and Parole District 13 Arrest Team is a special unit with the Missouri Division of Probation and Parole. They help keep our community safe by finding and arresting high-risk offenders who have felony warrants. The team is known for being professional, well-trained, and great at working with other agencies.
