Three-way Mayor's Race in Branson

As the Candidate Filing Period Closed for the Missouri April Municipal Election, the looks to be one contested race in the City of Branson.

Pending certification of the candidates’ applications, incumbent Mayor Larry Milton will be challenged for a second term by former Mayor Karen Best and current Ward 2 Alderman Chuck Rodriguez. No person filed to run against the incumbent Aldermen who all filed for re-election, Clay Cooper in Ward 1, Cody Fenton in Ward 2, and Ruth Denham in Ward 3. 

Information on other races for the April Municipal Election will be posted in the coming days.

    The Hollister Schools Foundation has presented a $4,000 check to the Hollister R-V School District, funds raised during last spring’s "Coins for a Cause" fundraiser. The generous donation will be used to help purchase two therapy dogs for the district, set to debut at the start of the 2025-2026 school year. The check was presented to Superintendent Dr. Brian Wilson and Assistant Superintendent of District Operations, Dr. Sean Woods, by foundation board members Katie Adams, Ryan Gdovin, and Denise Olmstead.
