Thunder Ridge Responds to Traffic Issues at Post Malone, Jelly Roll Concert

Another major concert at the Thunder Ridge Nature Arena in Ridgedale led to traffic issues which led to several ticketholders not getting into the show.

Several media reports over the last few days detailed the frustrations of those trying to get into the show featuring Post Malone and Jelly Roll.
Thunder Ridge issued a statement to Ozarks First citing traffic accidents not related to the concert in the area that had an impact on the flow of traffic.

Legends 1063 reported on the fatality crash that occurred earlier in the day on Estate Drive near Big Cedar while the Missouri State Highway Patrol also worked a three-vehicle-accident on Highway 65 north of Branson around 5:00 that afternoon.

Improvements have been made in and around Thunder Ridge since the first concert in 2022 featuring Garth Brooks with the expansion of Highway 86 to four lanes between Highway 65 and the site as well as a roundabout and more parking.

The next event scheduled at Thunder Ridge is the Outlaw Tour Show featuring Willie Nelson and Bob Dylan on June 29.

The complete statement from Thunder Ridge to Ozarks First is below:

“Thunder Ridge Nature Arena was created as a part of our not-for-profit conservation foundation for the benefit and enjoyment of the Ozarks. Leading up to this concert, we have been honored to host many very successful large events and concerts.  We have proudly made significant investments in world-class infrastructure to enhance the venue for all to enjoy.

Regrettably, this past Friday, a tragic accident unrelated to the concert occurred.  This incident, along with several other accidents in the area, led to traffic disruptions on key routes and impacted the experience for some of our guests.  We are deeply saddened by the loss of life and apologize to our guests who were affected.

Guests who were unable to attend due to these events may contact us at info@thunderridgenaturearena.com.

Thank you for your understanding and we look forward to serving you for many years to come.”
