Traffic Crash Near Silver Dollar City Injures One

Visitors leaving Silver Dollar City Tuesday evening work their way around a single vehicle crash at the intersection of Silver Dollar City Parkway and Indian Point Road.

According to the report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 7:30 when a vehicle driven by 20-year-old Monica Kelly of Nixa swerved to avoid an object on the road which caused her vehicle to leave the roadway, hit a tree, and overturn. 

Kelly sustained serious injuries in the crash and was taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment.
