Two administrators at Hollister R-V Schools are in their final weeks with the district.
Superintendent Dr. Brian Wilson and Communications Director Kim Connell will end their tenures with the district at the end of the month. Wilson has led the district since 2014 after having previously been Superintendent at Fordland. Connell joined the district as an Elementary Teacher in 2012 before transitioning to Communications Director.
During a recent visit to KRZK's "Ozarks Now" program, both Wilson and Connell reflected on the many changes in the district including the expansion of facilities and also the development of the Communication Department under Connell that has much more student involvement in the learning process. Wilson added that the relationship between the community stakeholders, the district along with city and chamber officials has never been stronger.
Like Branson who has several administration changes for the coming school year, several of Hollister's changes will also be from within with Assistant Superintendent of Operations Dr. Sean Woods taking over for Wilson in the top spot while Elementary Principal Mark Waugh will assume Connell's duties as Communications Director.
