Two people are injured after a small plane crashes northeast of Shell Knob Tuesday afternoon.
According to a post on the Central Crossing Fire Protection District Facebook Page, units were dispatched to an air strip near Discovery Bay around 4:45 and upon arrival discovered a small aircraft had crashed into some trees north of the airstrip. Two people were in the small plane and suffered minor injuries.
Central Crossing was assisted on scene by Mercy EMS and Lifeline, Stone County E-911 and the Sheriff's Department as well as the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
