After meeting for the first time in 40 years on the football field in 2024, the Branson Pirates and Harrison Goblins are set to go at it for the second year in a row.
On August 29, the Pirates and Goblins will meet at F.S. Garrison Stadium in Harrison for the second Pella Windows and Doors Border Battle. The first edition of the game was won by the Pirates 23-7 in Branson.
Branson has held the trophy for the last year but has now returned it so it can be updated for this year's game by the trophy designers from The Sign Man.
As with last year's event, the activities will begin with a special live broadcast prior to the game on the radio home of Branson Pirate Football, Legends 1063 and the home of Harrison Goblin Football, New Country 1029, also presented by Pella Windows and Doors.
Both stations will again broadcast the game live as well as online at moarksports.com with a video presentation on the Harrison School District's GOB TV, beginning a partnership between them and MOARK Sports for Harrison Home Game Coverage this season.
