Update: Branson Police Looking for Suspect in Tuesday Night Shooting

Authorities are searching for a person believed to be involved in a shooting incident Tuesday night at the north end of Branson Landing.

According to a release from the Branson Police Department, the suspect is described to be a light skinned black man with long hair and with a thin build and believed to be in his early to mid 20's. Officials also say the suspect was seen in a dark colored sedan. 

The shooting incident occurred around 9:15 Tuesday night with the victim suffering non-life threatening injuries. 

The release goes on to say that they believe there is no ongoing threat to the public. 

People with information on the incident and suspect are asked to contact the Branson Police Department’s Crime Tip Hotline at 417-334-1085.
