The first week of the New Year will see a return to the warm conditions that impacted the Lakes Region at the end of last year.
National Weather Service Forecasters say the brief cooldown that hit over the weekend is being replaced by temperatures that will approach 70 over the next couple of days.
A system will move in getting the region a chance of rain on Thursday with temperatures going back closer to normal by the weekend.
