The chances of snow accumulations have increased for some parts of the Lakes Region.
The National Weather Service has expanded the area of the Winter Weather Advisory to now include Ozark, Stone, and Taney Counties including the Branson area in Missouri and Harrison and surrounding Boone County as well as Marion County in Northern Arkansas.
Weather Service Forecasters say around of inch of snow is possible while isolated areas of up to three inches of snow are possible as the system moves through Thursday morning.
The Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until Noon with skies expected to clear before the end of the day. Very cold temperatures are expected throughout the day with highs mainly staying in the upper teens and low 20's with overnight lows in the low teens. Wind Chills of around zero or lower are possible throughout the day.
