A woman from Republic sustains serious injuries after a boating accident Sunday afternoon on Table Rock Lake.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident happened around 2:00 when 41-year-old Jean Herrera fell after attempting to stand after wakeboarding, tried to grab the rope and was struck by the boat propeller.
Herrera was airlifted to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for treatment of her injuries.
