Woman Wanted On Charges in Northeast Missouri Arrested in Lakes Region

A woman wanted on assault charges near St. Louis is arrested in Taney County.

According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, troopers took 37-year-old Elizabeth Asher of O'Fallon into custody on Saturday on a Felony Warrant out of Lincoln County. 

According to court documents, Asher is charged with the assault of her boyfriend at a residence in nearby community of Moscow Mills in early June. 

Asher is currently being held without bond in the Taney County Jail in Forsyth awaiting extradition to Lincoln County.
