Basketball Restarts for Some, Postponed for Others, Reeds Spring Celebrates Hall of Fame

Basketball Action is getting back underway for many schools, but a pair of MOARK Teams will have to wait a few more days to get back to action.

The Harrison Goblins and Lady Goblins were scheduled to return to action tonight at home against Russellville, however ongoing travel issues in Arkansas has forced the postponement of those games until next Wednesday. The teams will return to action the previous day as the travel to Mountain Home.

Several Missouri Teams have or are returning to action:
Blue Eye 
The Bulldogs got back to action on Wednesday and pulled an upset in the opening round of the Sparta Tournament knocking off second seed Willow Springs 62-53 before losing to Billings in the semifinals 64-56. Blue Eye will play the host Trojans for third place on Saturday. 

The Lady Bulldogs returned to action Thursday, picking up a 34-17 win over Crane. 

Branson
The Pirates opened play in the Bolivar Tournament Thursday and outscored Springfield Central 91-82. The Pirates will play the host Liberators in the tournament semifinals this evening at 8:30. The two teams met in the Blue and Gold in December with the Pirates prevailing and the teams will meet in their Ozark Mountain Conference Match-up in February. 

The Lady Pirates return to action tonight as they host Springfield Parkview in a make-up game from Monday. 

Forsyth
The Panthers and Lady Panthers play host to Strafford this evening. The Boys teams met last week in the Spokane Tournament semifinals with the Panthers getting the win on their way to the tournament title. The Girls game begins around 6:00 with the Boys to follow. Both games will be on the Forsyth Channel at MOARK Sports Dot Com. 

Hollister
The Lady Tigers lost their return to the court Thursday night, dropping a 78-53 home contest to Clever. The Boys team will play host to Clever this evening. 

Reeds Spring
Reeds Spring host Hall of Fame Night this evening honoring longtime Softball Coach Scott Walker along with former Cross Country-Track Athlete Rachel Bagg and Volleyball Player Bella Fuller. The ceremony will take place at halftime of this evening's varsity boys game against Springfield Catholic.
