A longtime member of the Branson High School Football Coaching Staff and former player will be honored in October by the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame.
Jeff Howard has been named a member of the 2025 Football Elite 11, which honors the accomplishments of past players and coaches of high school and college football programs in Missouri.
Howard has been a part of the Pirate Football Program in both capacities, having been a three-year letterman for Coach Steve Hancock's teams in the mid 90s. Howard was on the team that won three straight District Titles.
After graduation, Howard migrated his way back to help the program, having been an assistant with the team since 1998 working with Hancock and has stayed to serve subsequent head coaches including current leader Aaron Hafner.
The Keynote Inductee for this year's Football Luncheon is former St. Louis Rams Coach Mike Martz.
The ceremony honoring Howard will take place in Springfield on October 15 at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds.
