Branson Takes Part in State Track Meet

The 2024-25 High School Sports Season officially closed for the Lakes Region this past weekend with Branson taking part in the Class 5 State Track Meet in Jefferson City.

The Pirates send four athletes to compete in five events. Alexis Carter had the top finish for Branson taking home sixth place in the Girls 1600 Meter Run. Carter also took part in the 800 Meter finishing 13th. Kaedyn Pierce also represented the Lady Pirates at the State Meet in the 300 Meter Hurdles finishing 15th. 

The Boys team had two representatives, Peyton Bough with a 13th place finish in the Long Jump and Ben Kirk finishing 16th in the Discus. 

Area school now have their summer camps and programs underway as they begin preparation for the 2025-26 High School Sports Season.
