Branson Tennis In State Tournament

The Pirates, after sweeping through the Class 2 District Tournament last week, head to Platte County for the Class 2 Sectional, the winner of which will move on to the State Tennis Final Four this weekend in Springfield. 

One Pirate Tennis Player already knows he will be in Springfield latter this week. Ben Merrifield took home First Place in the Singles District Tournament and advances to state later this week. According to a post on the Branson Pirate Tennis Facebook Page, Merrifield is the first Pirate Boys Tennis Player to have a Individual District Championship in program history.
