With the Harrison Goblins on their bye week, four games were on the MOARK High School Football Schedule this week. The teams ended up with two wins and two losses.

Branson 35 West Plains 21
The visiting Pirates used a balanced rushing effort to slide by the Zizzers spoiling Homecoming night. Noah McCright scored three touchdowns and Blake Webber added two to pace the Pirates to their third straight win. Although giving up the most points since their opening week loss at Harrison, the Pirate defense did force two turnovers then cam up with a stand when West Plains threatened to cut the lead to seven in the fourth quarter. 

Forsyth 43 Clever 42
The Panthers found themselves down 15 points with just over three and a half minutes to play before pulling off the big comeback. Tamarkus Holmes got a touchdown run and threw for the two-point conversion to cut the lead to eight. Then after a successful onside kick, the Panthers scored with 30 seconds left on a Holmes to Ryan Deroo touchdown pass with Holmes running in for the conversion to grab the lead. Holmes then put the finishing touches on the comeback with an interception as the Panthers even their record at 2-2.

Springfield Catholic 35 Reeds Spring 26
The Wolves hosted their homecoming game against the Irish and rallied from an early 15-0 deficit to keep the pressure on the visitors. A key moment just before halftime had the Wolves throwing an interception that led to a Irish score and a that gave the Irish a 22-7 halftime lead and the Wolves never recovered as they fall to 0-4.

A strong opponent and and injury riddled team was not a good combination for the Tigers as the Eagle notch the big win and send the Tigers to a 2-2 record after winning their first two of the season.
