High School Basketball Weekend includes Battle at Branson Classic

The Battle at Branson Classic is among the highlights of a busy High School Basketball Friday and Saturday on MOARK Sports.

The Pirates will play Benton and Blue Valley Northwest in the two-day classic with Rolla being the forth team participating. 

The Pirates take on Benton tonight at 7:30 then play Blue Valley Northwest Saturday at 3:00. Rolla will play the opposite team in games at 5:30 this afternoon and 1:00 Saturday. 

Both Branson Games will be covered by MOARK Sports. 

A recap of other action on MOARK Sports:
-The Forsyth Boys hit the road for a contest against Seymour, who is 9-3 for the season. The Panthers are 6-5 after their close loss to Springfield Hillcrest on Tuesday.  Varsity game time will be around 7:30 on MOARK Sports. 

-The Harrison Boys and Girls teams will look to rebound after their losses to Mountain Home on Tuesday as they travel to Greenwood for their second 5A West Conference matchups. Girls Game at 6:00 with Boys around 7:30 on MOARK Sports and 94.9 KHOZ.

-Today is on off day at the Sparta Girls Basketball Tournament. On Thursday, Reeds Spring and Chadwick won their way into Saturday Championship Game with wins over Hollister and Lebanon respectively. In Consolation action, Blue Eye rallied late to beat Forsyth while the host Lady Trojans knocked off Spokane. Saturday action will begin at 10:00 am with Forsyth playing Spokane for 7th, followed by Blue Eye-Sparta for 5th, Hollister-Lebanon for 3rd, with Reeds Spring playing Chadwick in a rematch of last year's title game. Several final round games will be on MOARK Sports. The schedule will be posted on the MOARK Sports Facebook Page.
