High School Sports Week One

The first full week of August finds High School Sports beginning fall preparations and a season in Arkansas while Missouri schools are quiet.

For Missouri High Schools, it is Dead Week as no activities are allowed. Missouri Schools can start Fall Practice Sessions next week on August 11. 

it is the exact opposite in Arkansas as Fall Practice Sessions can begin for Fall Sports.

In addition, the High School Golf Season gets underway. One of the big opening season tournaments takes place in Mountain Home at the Big Creek Country Club. Both the Harrison Boys and Girls squads are included in the field for the two-day tournament.
