Two of the top teams in the area meet in Class 1 State Volleyball Quarterfinals Saturday with a spot in the High School Volleyball Final Four on the line.

The host Galena Lady Bears rallied from 2-1 down in their match against the Jasper Lady Eagles and claimed the final two games to punch a ticket to the Class 1 State Semi-finals next weekend in Cape Girardeau.

After the Lady Bears took Game One 25-22, the visiting Lady Eagles grabbed the next two games 25-9, 25-18 and had the fourth game to match point, needing only one more score to win, but Galena rallied to get the final seven points of the game and win 26-24 to force the fifth game, which they claimed 15-11.  

Galena will play Advance High School in the semi-finals and will join Northwest Hughsville and South Iron in the final four.
