
Alice Tillman...
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alice Tillman, a remarkable woman with a tremendous love for her family and adventurous spirit.
Alice was born on October 21, 1934 in Scanlon, Minnesota. She grew up in Scanlon and on January 20, 1951 married the love of her life, Bernard “Bern” Tillman. Alice was not just a caregiver to her family but also in her occupation, giving comfort and care as a nurse’s aide for those in the hospital.
Alice found great happiness in nature, camping, exploring new places through traveling, horseback riding, skiing and snowmobiling. A true partner in every sense, she shared her life with her beloved husband, riding motorcycles side by side, and joyfully embracing anything he loved to do. Together, they shared many adventures outdoors. Alice was also an avid gardener, diligently preserving the fruits and vegetables of her labor through canning. Going to the casinos, was another of her fun pastimes. Above all, Alice had immeasurable love for her family especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her treasured cat, Bandit.
Alice entered into rest on Monday, June 16, 2025 in Branson, MO at the age of 90.
Her family, friends, and all who knew her will forever cherish her memory. She is survived by her daughters, Sandy Dank & husband Steven of Zimmerman, MN, Mary Pohjola of Harrison, AR and Cheryle Rossini & husband William of Waco, TX; her grandchildren, Nick Wickham, Shawn Pohjola and Aaron Pohjola and great-grandchildren, Hallie, Spencer, Jasper, Mila, Sienna, Ava and Ella.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Albert & Lillian Evenson; her husband, Bernard Tillman; brother, Kenny Evenson and sister, Gloria Anderson.
A celebration of Alice’s life will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at 11:00 am in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory, Branson.
