Basil F. Lashley, Kimberling City, MO.

Basil F. Lashley, Kimberling City, MO, son of Floyd and Nellie (London) Lashley, was born March 10, 1938, in Brunot, MO, and departed this life on October 21, 2022, at the age of 84.

Basil had been a resident of the area for twenty-two years, moving here from St. Louis, MO. He had worked as a technician for a phone company. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of the Woodland Hill Church in Branson, MO and the VVA in Kimberling City, MO.

Basil was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Sharon Hawn; and two sisters, Joyce Beard and Eline Sedgewich.

Survivors include: his wife, Terrie Lashley of Kimberling City, MO; three sons, Chad Lashley and wife, Linda of Wentzville, MO, Daniel Henry and wife, Elaine of Corur d’ Alene, ID and Bryan Henry and wife, Jennifer of Rainier, WA; two daughters, Charla Person and husband, Shawn of Barnhart, MO and Pamela Paula and husband, Mike of Grenada, CA; fourteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

A Memorial service for Basil will be held November 15, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at Woodland Hills Chapel, Branson, MO with Pastor Randy Johnson officiating. Military Honors will follow the service. Cremation was under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home Kimberling City, MO.
