Carmen Gail (Dockweiler) Chase

Carmen Gail (Dockweiler) Chase, age 38, passed away on December 14, 2025.

Carmen Gail (Dockweiler) Chase, the wife of Brady Chase, was born on August 27, 1987, in Central City, Nebraska, to Thomas and Sherry (Masters) Dockweiler. Carmen attended Nebraska Christian Schools from kindergarten through 12th grade. Her love of and desire to help people could be seen, even in her school years. She completed her lifeguard and EMT certification while in high school. It was also during high school that she met Brady Chase, her best friend and the love of her life.

Once Carmen graduated from high school in May of 2006, she married Brady on July 22nd. The couple moved to the Branson/Hollister, Missouri, area to allow Brady to pursue a nursing degree from College of the Ozarks as part of that program’s inaugural class. During that time, Carmen became the general manager of the apartment complex in which they made their home.
Once Brady graduated, Carmen took up Cosmetology School. She worked for five years at Jan’s Hairshop and loved doing hair for the bridal parties at many of her friends and relatives’ weddings.

Carmen and Brady were active in their Woodland Hills Family Church community. They hosted a home group in their home for many years and were both beneficiaries and mentors in the church’s Marriage 911 ministry. When God blessed the couple with children, Carmen shifted her energy to being a stay-at-home mother. When her girls reached school age, she took up homeschooling. Carmen loved and trusted her God, and their relationship was close. She often opened journal entries written to her Lord and Savior with the simple salutation “Daddy”. She tried to honor God in everything she did. She cared deeply for her husband, her family, and her friends.

It is impossible to describe anyone’s life in something as short as an obituary, but you can see from the short account above that Carmen was selfless, kind, caring, a great listener, a great friend, an amazing (the BEST) spouse, and an even better mother.
Carmen was preceded in death by their five unborn children; her grandfather, Danny Dockweiler; her husband’s grandparents: Theodore and Edith (Lydiatt) Chase and Virgil and Ollie (Haller) Farlin; and cousins: Devin Smith, Randee Dockweiler, and Amber (Meekins) Smith
Among the many who remain to cherish her memory are her husband and her children, Brady Chase and their daughters, Jaidyn and Laelyn and their sons, Micaiah and Azariah of Hollister, Missouri; her parents: Tom and Sherry Dockweiler of Central City, Nebraska; her father and mother-in-law: Michael and Veda Chase of Crofton, Nebraska; her grandparents: Doris Dockweiler of Hooper, Nebraska, and Dwight and Alice Masters of Mapleton, Iowa. Her siblings: Melody (Michael) Strauser of Forest City, Iowa, Zac (Chelsea) Dockweiler of Sparta, Missouri, and Jon (Kay) Dockweiler of Salt Lake City, Utah; her brothers and sisters-in-law: Bethany (Kevin) Hutchinson of Kansas City, Missouri, Koya (Micah) Dorner of Lincoln, Nebraska, Keith Chase of Belton, Missouri, Breanna (Timothy) Ratzlaff of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Kaylea (Nicholas) Jones of Los Alamos, New Mexico; as well as a large number of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
A Memorial Service is scheduled in The Chapel at Woodland Hills Family Church, 3953 Green Mountain Drive, Branson, Missouri, on Friday, December 19th at 4:00 p.m. A live feed of the service will be available at the following link: HYPERLINK "https://vimeo.com/event/529167/294722c9e0" \o "This external link will open in a new window" \t "_blank"https://vimeo.com/event/529167/294722c9e0.
