Carol Marie Bavuso, 69, of Kirbyville, MO. passed peacefully on April 11, 2025, after a long illness She was born August 8, 1955, at Larned Kansas to James and Virginia (Hall) Goldsberry. Carol attended and graduated from Larned High School, Larned, Kansas. She met and married the love of her life, David Bavuso on November 26,1973 at the Methodist Church, Larned, Kansas. To this union they were blessed with two children.
Carol and Dave moved to the Ozarks from Kansas to enjoy a peaceful life with their children. She was a horticulturist who found herself working at Point Royal Golf Course as a landscaper, her ideal job for over eleven years. She loved the outdoors and liked to build large flower beds both at the golf course and around her home. Her hobbies were fishing and sewing. Carol's greatest enjoyment was her granddaughters and spending time with them.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, three brothers Jim, Bob, and Dwayne, and sister Kathy Thornton.
Carol is survived by her loving husband Dave Bavuso of the home, her son D.J. Bavuso of Kirbyville, MO., daughter Allisha Bavuso husband Paul Weeks of Forsyth, MO., two granddaughters Isabelle and Mia both of Forsyth, MO., and a brother John Goldsberry of Springfield, MO.
Celebration of Life will be held at the Shadow Rock Park (if Shadow Rock is flooded the Celebration will be held at Empire Park), Forsyth, MO., Sunday May 4, 2025, 6PM.
Cremation was under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel, Forsyth, MO.
