Charles Lester Parker, age 72, of Cassville, Missouri passed away Friday, August 1, 2025 at his home.
He was born March 3, 1953 in Oakland, California the son of Joseph Lester and Alta June (Rose) Parker. On October 19, 1992 in Pierce City, Missouri he was united in marriage to Norma Green, who survives. Also surviving are his daughter, Lindsay Benbrook and her husband Stephen of Exeter, Missouri; brother, John Parker of Fayetteville, Arkansas; sisters, Debbie Crawford and her husband Johnny of Cassville, Missouri, Barbara Skinner of Cassville, Missouri and Kathy Brown of Fayetteville, Arkansas; two granddaughters, Arial Parker and Lakeisha Wise and one great granddaughter, Elizabeth Parker.
Preceding him in death were his parents; granddaughter, Natasha Parker; brother, Joe Parker and sisters, Martha Parker, Vivian Johnson, and Annett Bartholomew. Charles attended school in Pierce City, Missouri. He was self-employed as a handy man and mechanic. Charles and Norma moved to Cassville six years ago coming from Pierce City. He loved riding his Harley and playing music. Charles played guitar and piano and enjoyed singing the songs he wrote. Having Bible study with his family and sharing the Lord with people he met was very important to him. Charles loved his family dearly. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 6, 2025 at Body of Christ Ministries in Wheaton. Pastor Gene Robinson and Brother Tony Ball will conduct the services. Burial will be at Bethel Cemetery in Monett, Missouri.
Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
